City Clerk / Treasurer - Jean McPherson

Picture

The City Clerk is the "voice" and "face" of the City.  I take great pride in being courteous and professional to all who call or come to City Hall.  Answering calls for questions or complaints takes place every weekday.  Other tasks that are performed here at City Hall are all aspects of billing and collecting for the water, waste water, storm drains and collection of garbage and recycling.  All accounting and book keeping tasks as well as payroll and sales tax reporting to the State of Iowa and US Treasury, preparing documents and packets for the City Council Meetings and some other departments as well. Jean has worked at City Hall since April of 2003.          .
